Introduction to Floristry & Fundamental Techniques

In the first week, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of floristry. You will learn how to properly prepare flowers through cutting, conditioning, and caring for each bloom to ensure maximum freshness. Cleaning and preparing foliage will also be covered, followed by an introduction to straussing a posy. You will explore professional wrapping methods, as well as the use of ribbons and embellishments to elevate your floral presentation.

Bookings: Bookings are essential to secure your place as a casual student in a class. 6 bookings per class are required for the class to go ahead. You will be notified with alternate class options if your class does not meet this requirement.
