The Industry Ready Course at Adelaide Floristry School is a pathway into a career as a florist or retail floristry assistant. This course is suitable for all types of learners and lifestyles! We are always asked: ‘can you study and work full-time?’. The answer is YES.

The Industry Ready program at Adelaide Floristry School is a comprehensive, year-long floristry training course designed to prepare students for a professional career in the floral industry. 

        •       Duration & Delivery: 36 weeks, meeting weekly (Tuesdays 10am–2pm). 
        •       Curriculum: Covers practical floral design techniques, flower knowledge, event floristry  weddings, installations, eco-design and sustainability and business / retail floristry management. 
        •       Practical Experience: Students have opportunities to assist with real weddings and large-scale installations, gaining hands-on professional experience. 
        •       Business Skills: Includes modules on pricing, client consultations, and developing a business plan — helping students to either join a flower shop or start their own floristry business. 
        •       Outcome: Graduates finish with a strong portfolio, practical skills, and confidence — ready to work as a florist assistant, floral designer, or even run their own floral business. 

Online Option: There is also an Industry Ready Online version, offering flexibility while delivering the same core content.

Time: Tuesdays at 10am - 2pm

This course is conducted over 36 weeks in 2026. The Industry Ready Course is conducted on Tuesdays at 10.00am to 2.00pm for over four terms.

• Term 3  21 July – 22 September 2026

• Term 4  13 October – 19 November 2026
