The Bud Advanced Online program is an intensive eight-week floristry course designed for students who are ready to build on their foundational skills and develop greater confidence, creativity and technical ability. This course is ideal for those who have completed our Seed Beginners program, studied floristry previously, or are practising florists looking to refresh their skills and learn modern floristry techniques.
Throughout the eight weeks, you'll deepen your understanding of the elements and principles of floral design while refining the techniques used by today's professional florists. Each module has been carefully developed to challenge your creativity and strengthen your technical skills, allowing you to create beautiful, contemporary floral designs with confidence.
During the course, you'll explore advanced spiral (straussing) techniques, professional wrapping and presentation, whimsical floral styling, table settings, presentation bouquets, and a range of modern floral designs — plus advanced wiring and taping techniques for more intricate, professional floral work.
Each module includes detailed step-by-step instruction, a flower and materials recipe, and clear guidance on the practical task for that week. By the end of the program, you'll have completed eight advanced floral designs while building the confidence and technical ability required for the next stage of your floristry journey.
